Well. first off, thank you for asking me your question. You both sound like an on and off couple. You probably are confused about how you feel about him, maybe you do have feelings for him, but his obsession with you is just a big turn off. Meaning you just don't like his obsessing with you. But, if you're sure that you don't like him more than a friend, then the next time he calls, ask him nicely to stop and tell him that you do not have the same feelings for you as you do toward him. Just say, "Hey, you're a really nice guy to talk to, but I need for you to stop calling so much, I'm really sorry, but I'm not feeling the same way you do about me." And, your friend just sounds like she knows that you guys will be off and on, so don't take your friends' thoughts too offensively. But, the only way you can make him stop is to be 100 percent honest with him. Even if the truth is just really hard to get out, its important the guy knows that you aren't on the same page as him. Because, if you don't tell the truth and just keep taking his calls, thats really playing around with his mind. And you already stated that you didn't want to. Don't hesistate to ask for more help going about this ore anything else.
