Question Posted Thursday July 21 2005, 10:45 pm

hey! i asked an essay question on a thesis statement and your answer was really good. you said if i told you the topic of my book that you could give me a better idea and i'd really appreciate it if you did! ah thanks so much! okay

Topic= Phyllisia came from West India and has no friends. People beat her up and no one likes her. Edith, a very tough girl that everyons afraid of, helps her and they become good friends and its basically a book about how to keep a strong friendship of complete opposites.
Phylisia- dresses nice and a decent house
Edith- ripped stockings and not a very good home, tough life

OMG I'D SOO APPRECIATE THIS! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!

Ok, you've already got an idea for a thesis statement:

"basically a book about how to keep a strong friendship of complete opposites."

So, something like this:

"By reading about Phyllisia and Edith, we can see that people can form strong friendships no matter what kind of differences they have."

Play around with that a bit, or get a general idea of a thesis from that.

I hope this helps you!
