Question Posted Thursday July 21 2005, 10:33 pm

Yu told me that i had to jog, not walk to lose weight. That's not true, calories are burned just the same walking as they are running.

Yes, I'm well aware of that. But walking one mile is admittedly pretty weak. In my daily activities, I walk far more than a mile easily. Why aim so low? The other point of jogging is that it is more vigorous than walking, and therefore will burn MORE calories than walking.

You asked about making progress... and I'm saying that what you've proposed will not make much impact - one mile of walking and 100 crunches is minimal effort... why not plan a bit more and get better results faster with a little more effort on your part? It only seems to make sense.
