thanks.. i dont want it to be my major though. like, is it possible to have a career then also work for a magazine? im really confused and i dont kno alot about that kinda stuff..lol. i will take some journalism classes, thanks for the advice ;]

But there are a lot of people who just have a column at a magazine on top of their regular career. For example Carol Weston, who write the advice column for Girl's Life magazine, is an author. People who write for sports magazine might have a career in sports but then they write a sports column in a magazine or newspaper too. I'm not sure how you would go about getting a column, but once you have a successful job already, then you could talk to different magazines about getting a column there. I'm sorry if this is a little confusing, but good luck! I'm sure you have a lot of time to think about it though.
