I don't kno what to do! I like her, but can't tell her!
Ok, theres this girl i kno, we sat next to each other in science. At first, she was just some hyperactive weird person. But I got used to her, and eventually we had to change seats, could be with anyone, but it had to be someone of the opposite sex. To keep it simple, we chose the same seats, except in the back of the room, as did a bunch of other people. We became friends, I invited her over one day, but as a friend. Since then, my family's been making jokes about me and her together. I was in complete denial.
Then the other signs started to show. My best friend---as in, my friend-who-I-can-tell-anything-I-want-to-and-he-won't-pass-on friend, said to her one day, "You know, you look like *my name censored*'s girlfriend." Immediately, we both rejected what he said, and walked out of the room.
But then whenever I saw her in the hallways, she would hit me over the head with her notebook and say "It's all your fault! That's it, we're through!" I called it fun among friends. My family called it flirting.
But then last night, I found myself taking my yearbook out and just staring at the picture... I stared for a good five to ten minutes before falling asleep on it.
Also, I know it's summer and all, but for the last week or two, I can't wait for school to start. Not because I like my teachers. Not because I'm a nerd. Because of this girl.
How do I ask her out? How do I even show signs that I like her? And where do I tell her? In the middle of the hallway would look kind of awkward... I'm really shy, so I can't recite any famous lines or anything like that... and I can't bring up the courage to just straight out say that I like her. I'm a bit young to start dating, 7th grade. What should I do? I'm a mess, if this keeps going on, I'll wind up mentioning her in Improv class!
Like that guy in The Gods Must Be Crazy, I get stupid around girls. Ironically, just now, she sent an e-mail saying "HIIIIIII!!!! hows ur summer been goin? good? bad? aliens? well ok. MOON MONKEYS!!!! im spazzy"
Naturally, I wanted to reply, or else make it seem like I'm at sleepaway camp. I'm not gonna lie, so all I wrote was "o hi =P im havin a good summer, u?" and thats it.
PLEASE I'm desparate, help me, you have no idea how screwed up I am!

Aw wow! Atleast I have enough information that i think i can help you. I think that what you need to do is hang out with this girl more. I know that you guys flirted in school quiete a lot..and she might have an idea that you like her or she might just think you are flirting. It's a very good thing that she emailed you, it means she is thinking about you and probably wants to stay in touch and probably hang out! So in your next email, throw something in there about wanting to hang out. If you hang out with her more, maybe she'll admit if she likes you or you can work up the courage to maybe hint that you like her. If you want to ask her out and see what she says jsut go for it! One time when you're hanging out just be like "hey you're a really great girl and love spending time with you so..will you go out with me?" or however you want to phrase it. If she sayes yes then, fantastic! if she seems hesitant it might not be because of you, she mite just feel akward in the situation. I hope my advice helps you, lemme know how it goes!
