he likes her...and i like him =/

Question Posted Wednesday July 13 2005, 11:02 pm

(**names are changed**) ok so my bestest guy friend, *mike* told me that he liked my friend *mary*. now you see, i like mike...a lot-and i always have. ...and he doesn't know. so when mike told me he likes mary...i just pretended i was all cool with it and i was like 'OH MY GOD!!! do you want me to talk to her for you?' and all this other stuff. so i talked to mary for him and found out that she likes 4 other people. and i told him and he was all pissed about it. so then finally my other friend *tom* convinced mike to tell mary that he likes her. and when mike told her, she said "you know that martha (thats me) likes you right?...i can't do that to her, she's my friend" and what not. but mike didn't believe her when she said that i liked him. so then there was a build up of a lot of things...and i was just like "mary, you don't know how bad i want to tell mike that i like him...but at the same time, i don't." and she convinced me to really tell him. so i did...and now everything is really awkward. which i hate b/c like everytime something big like this happens, usually we're so cool about it and like, i can't look at him or anything. and i really want to talk to him about how i feel, b/c we are such good friends and we're so open...but this is such a touchy topic...that like i don't know if i should talk to him and risk looking like an idiot, or just wait till this all blows over...

sorry this was so long...advice on what to do? help/comments, anything!

The thing is there is a chance that it won't "blow over" and things could just be left awkwardly. Since you already put yourself out there and told him that you like him, I think you hsould go all the way through with it and just talk about the whole situation. If you guys are so open and so good of friends, you should be able to get it all worked out. Hope I helped.

Since he already knows and all that I really think you need to talk to him and see what he thinks about it. Tell him its no big deal if he doesn't feel the same. You would just really like to know.

If you don't want to do that, then just wait it out. It will be awkward for awhile. Try to treat him as you did before and it will blow over eventually. :)

well if your so open just tell him..or what i always do is tell the guy online, because i would feel weird too like in person or on the phone. just talk to him about it and stay calm while doing it.
Hope i Helped and i hope you'll rate me =)
