So I am interested in this person, and I know he is interested in me too....but he's married. Should I go for it anyway?

Well, as a married woman, I have to say no. You wouldn't want to be the one responsible for making a huge mess out of that marriage.

Even if you two were to have some affair, when it all came out, and trust me it always does, he would not leave his wife for you. They never do. And in the end you will be the bad guy, and you would be left out in the cold. It's just a bad situaiton all together.
