on xanga, i like to look up users who have the same interests as me. I saw a lot of cool people, and a lot of them have IM, but i'm nervous about talking to them. should i go ahead and try? or will they just think i'm like a weird stalker?

If i were in your situation first i would just say hi and introduce yourself. If they do find you as a wierd stalker then just forget about them becuase with the internet these days, if people dont like you then then can totally hack into your computer with jsut your SN. Id give it a shot and if they dont like you then, forget about them, or that one person......hopew i helped!
