I'm thinking about having my nose peirced this week. I've done alot of reseach about this and I'm not too worried about the pain or needles or anything.
I just want to get some basic facts before I go through with it, if anybody whos had it done or see it done could give me the low done on what happens and if it bleeds much... ect.
And how long should I keep the stud in before I change it? I've heard all different times, like between 6 - 12 weeks!
And finally, cleaning, what's best to use, and if I catch a cold during the healing process how should I deal with this?
Any help muchly appreciated :)

1. You can get an infection just like ones you can get with pierced ears. (but they don't last that long and they have treatments.)
2. Or you can try Claires ear formulas.(found at the store Claire's)
3. Make sure you go to a place where you trust them and think they are clean enough to pierce you.
4. It's almost just like getting your ears pierced, it probably won't hurt much as long as your not piercing cartilige.
5. I sugguest getting it pierced at piercing pagoda (found in the center of most malls.) They are very sanitary there and they will give you special cleaning formulas.
6. Leave the earring in for at least a month before you take it out, but if you have a cold after one month, you can take it out. [ twistedsister17's advice column | Ask twistedsister17 A Question ]
