Question Posted Tuesday July 5 2005, 12:38 pm

when you get your period, is it like the same feeling when you pee in your pants? and how do you prepare for your period, like so it doesn't stain your pants or whatever when you first get it?

well.. the feeling of your period is kinda rough, if you just got it, you know? Because like, you get cramps in your stomach, and the feelings kinda icky.. it`s not entirly like peeing in your pants though! lol, when i first got mine, i bought actual like pads, and then i bought smaller protective pads. They`re made just for the moments you THINK you have your period. I`m sure you can buy them at any designated store where they sell normal pads & tampons and stuff. Just keep a couple of pads in your bag, and bring some wherever you go, so your always ready. Talk to your mom more about this, and she`ll be sure to help you out!

hope i helped!
