NO I don't think young people give bad advice. That is not why I give advice. I give advice to help people. And I assume the young people who are on this site give advice for the same reason. I don't agree with your statement that young people know more than I do. I was young once, and I haven't forgotten what that was like. Styles change and fads, but young ambitions and ideals and attitudes are the same. Boys are the same, girls are the same,and some day when you are old, you will see the same things that I see. Sometimes people don't like my advice and that is fine. But I know that it is good advice, and that is all that matters. If you check my column and my feedback, you will see that 90% of the kids that I have given advice to, have thanked me, and said that I helped them. That is enough for me, the few kids who don't like my advice and comment negatively, are not going to dissuade me from giving advice. Some day you will see, when you are also, over 50, that you are not stupid just because kids think your advice is to old fashioned. When that day comes, I hope you remember this exchange between us.
