Well i don't know any good websites but my friend was in the same problem as u and what she did to convince her family was to when she did ride a horse like after she rides she makes sure she does everything like brush it and all that stuff. She gives her mom the idea that she is very responcable.Maybe even help out around the house even when it doesn't have to do with horses. She finally got her horse! Hope i helped! Good Luck! ]

^there you need to find the sale page on there. On Dream Horse its really great go there first. I don't know how to convince your mother but people on dream horse are really helpful. I've considered a few from there and they send videos and e-mails so you can see the horse and test it first.
Hope all goes well!

parents always seem to think that the older kid is less responsible than the younger ones. i should know. the same thing is going on with me. my sister is 3 years younger than me, and she gets to do everything too! like, things i can't do! sorry to talk about myself, but i'm just telling ya that there's probably not a way to convince your parents other than proving you're responsible. or kill your sister's horses and say she did it. ]
I'm really curious why you don't have one if your sister does (specailly if she is younger). In order to convince your mother you really need to know what her issues are so you can help her and prove to her that you are ready for a horse. Stay calm and listen to her before you get mad for not getting what you want.
I owned two horses until I went away to university and personally think the best way to find a good horse is by word of mouth, talk to your friends, your coaches, boarders at your barn and others. When you are looking at a praticular horse it's good to get the opinion of a really horse-smart person, even a vet if you can get one.
Good luck! ]
