OrionsFire answered Sunday June 26 2005, 11:32 am: First of all, it isn't a "lower" chance of getting pregnant. Unless you know exactly when you ovulate and can completely avoid the few days before and after, there is never a "lower" chance of getting pregnant. Unfortunately, you can also ovulate more then once a month, which just makes it more tricky. Basically, use protection all the time, or you can risk getting pregnant (not to mention an STD). bandgeeksunite answered Saturday June 25 2005, 8:19 pm: yes...because the egg hasnt been released yet...it takes at least 3 days for the egg to travel down the fallopean (sp?) tube...and that is the only time you can become pregnant [ bandgeeksunite's advice column | Ask bandgeeksunite A Question ]
