hey im 16/f i've been dealing with a lot of internal turmoil lately over the past year i've become more n more attracted to BOTH sexes im really afraid to mention anything to my friends because we always joke around about being gay and i just think they will look at me weird it could just be a phase but i just wish i could talk to my friends about it what should i do what would you do if one of your freinds told you something unbelievable like that and on a lighter note--- relient k kicks booty!

haha, I love relient k! (if you couldn't already tell). I absoultely know what you mean, my friends and I always joke around about being gay n all. I understand how hard it would be to tell them for that reason. So the question is are these people really your friends? I can tell you this if one of my friends confronted me and said that she sorta liked both sexes or even if she was a lesbian, I wouldn't care. If she's my friend then I dont care what she feels towards people (as in love). So I would say maybe just talk to a guy friend. I've asked people before if they ever thought about being gay or lesbian and everyone has said yes. It's probably just a phase, I mean I think everyone in a way sorta has a curiosity towards the same sex? does that make sense? Like I know that I'm perfectly straight and that I dont feel anything for girls but I cant certainly look at Britney spears and think man she's hott she has a nice body. who cant? But like when I'm around girls I think hey nice friends, and when i'm with guys I get flirtatious and I really want them to notice me. So I dont know if that helps you in knowing how you feel. If you feel confident enough talk to your friends. Just dont come on too strong when talking to them, just say lately I've been sorta attracted to this one girl and I still am attracted to guys I was just wondering if maybe you guys for a second have ever thought of a girl in another way? If you dont want to talk to a girl talk to a guy or maybe a trusted adult. Good luck, if all else fails, I'll always be here if you want to talk about it!
