older guys

Question Posted Friday June 10 2005, 5:33 pm

I'm 15 and going into 10th grade but the guy I like is 19 and going to be a sophmore in college. We've been hanging out alot and he said he liked me too...but my mom is way against it. she says he's too old and she 'knows what older guys want out of younger girls' but its not like that at all. How do I get her to see that he's not jus trying to get some?

open up to ur mom..tell her how you feel. and remember it is illigal for a minor to date some one over 18. so be careful!

have you, him, and your mom hang out alot, let her get to know him to see how nice and sweet he is, and make sure you tell her to keep an open mind about him. otherwise it will never work. good luck!

ok, well i know how moms are *even though i live with my dad*, just go out with him without her knowing, i know it's hard to lie to her like that but when your older like in college or whatever then you can tell her that you're going out with him. That's my plan for my boyfriend. Just try to help her understand that love is love, whether it means different age, sex, height, weight, there's really nothing you can do to move on, right? hope i helped.
