i had that happen too. all i do is on the search bar at the bottom where its the little running man i right click and say exit. it says are you sure you want to exit? i click yes. then it dissapears. then i click on the start button and find the shortcut on the start menu for aim. i click on it and it shows up. sometimes your comp freezes and it takes a minute to catch up. but if it takes for ever to catch up and get to normal speed then try my way. im pretty sure it will work. hope i helped~

yep, i have the same exact problem as you. first, you cant have it clicked to automatically sign you on and you cant save your password. make sure the little aim icon is not on the bottom right (if it is, then right click on it and hit exit aim). then, click on the time on the bottom right. then close that. then, click on the aim icon on ur main screen and it should work. it sucks to have to do that everytime, but if i figure out a different way ill let you know.

hope i helped- :)
