I hate my printer

Question Posted Thursday June 2 2005, 9:39 am

I have a HP printer. It hates me. It has new ink, is properly connected to the computer. I can only make it work for a few days at a time. It currently just spits out artifacts.
I have deleted the software and reloaded several times. I have run virus software and then reloaded software. I am currently ready to throw the printer out the window. Can you hand me a clue?

Hello there,

I will need the model number, your operating system and the method of connection: USB or Parallel before I can be of much help.

I can tell you that I have received a number of HP deskjets which were intermittent at best and DOA at worst. If this is a recent acquisition, you may be in a position to get one that actually works.

Ask again with the requested info and I will do my best to assist you.

DangerNerd.
