Michele answered Sunday May 15 2005, 2:03 pm: Well there could be a number of reasons why. And when you say got hot, do you just mean heavy making out, or actually sexual intercourse. If it is just heavy making out, And how can you do that without kissing?!?!?!? He could mean that kissing would lead him to want more than just cuddling with you. And he didn' want to take advantage of you. He himself may not be ready to go all the way with you. He wanted things to cool down. YOu do know (I hope) that boys get aroused when they are making out, or kissing, or when things get hot. And then their desires take over, and they usually don't think straight and all then want to do is complete the act. It is hard to stop, once they have started, and kissing can start it. But REMEMBER, no matter how "hot" things get between you. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT to say NO whenever you want. By the same token it is not a good idea to bring guys to that level and say no. So unless you are SURE that you are READY and you have BOTH taken precautions agains pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, then ....
However, if you are having sex, and he doesn't want to kiss you well, that just sounds really demeaning to me. If he doesn't want to kiss you, could he be afraid that he'll catch a disease if he kisses you. Could he think (even though it is stupid) that kissing would be cheating, but everything else is not (this is incase he has a girlfriend) Or do one or both of you have braces, or bad breath? Silly I know. But it is a thought. He also may think that he is a lousy kisser and that you'll judge him on that. Well these are just a few of the possibilities. Hope this helps.
