Question Posted Wednesday May 4 2005, 4:14 pm

I've been with my boyfriend for a long time, but every time he wants to do something, I panic. Is it that I don't trust him or is it that i'm not ready or what? I'm 15 years old. Should I take the step, or hold back? Signed, Mixed Emotions.

It's definitely because you're not ready hun. DO NOT let him pressure you into anything. Apparently you're not ready and he should respect that if he really gives a crap about you. When you are ready, keep in mind you're only 15 years old; you may think you're ready but you're not. If you decide at anytime you want to have sexual intercourse with this guy, get on birth control. You have your whole life ahead of you. Another thing to keep in mind is that girls who have sex before the age of 18 usually have a more reliant chance of developing uterus cancer. Many girls do not know that, but thats the truth. Take care.
