I logged onto AIM and my font name was called Sydnie and a friend of mine had that same font so I tried to IM her, but my text wasn't showing up. I figured maybe my colors got messed up or something so I checked and I made sure my background was white and my font was pink the way I had it. Even on the little thing where it shows you what your font point is and color and everything, it still didn't show up. I tried re-booting my computer and that didn't work either. It only did it with that font, so I ended up changing my font. It's not a huge deal, but I just wanted to know why that would have been happening. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Additional info, added Monday May 2 2005, 10:16 pm: By the way- She was able to read the font perfectly fine. It was showing up for her.. Want to answer more questions in the Technology category? master_jedi answered Tuesday May 3 2005, 6:49 am: the font probably got loaded wrong you can either load the font back on your aim or reinstall aim
personally I would reinstall aim
it doesn't take that long and you may be missing other attributes [ master_jedi's advice column | Ask master_jedi A Question ]
hitler_the_goat answered Tuesday May 3 2005, 12:30 am: why don't you use a font that is more visible, like black on white, and see if that works, if not, then you might want to reinstall AIM on your computer b/c there may have been a read error.
