ok well damn all those ppl who have ever said "i have a friend..." when they're really talking about themselves cuz they really screwed it up for me. neways my friend isnt exactly "hot" in guy terms or nething. so she's never had a bf and everything and she's really depressed. and i told her that guys just dont see what they're missing out on, and she told me that they see something in everyone but her. so i told her she just has to wait for the one. but she says that its not fair for everyone else to not have to wait and she does have to wait. what she doesnt understand is that all of us that do get bfs actually try to get them. like we dress nice, do our hair extra special, and talk to the guy and flirt. she doesnt try this at all, and i dont know how to tell her. she's to the point where she breaks down in tears crying. i think maybe if she got a cute haircut and maybe nicer clothes than maybe she would be "hot" or something but how do i tell her this? it would sound shallow and i dont know how to tell her to try to get a guy to like you. do you have any idea how i can get it through to her?

okay well honeslty i think the best you can do is tell her the truth.. tell her that she has to try for boys if she wants to get their attention! tell her its not as easy as it looks for you and the rest of your friends! tell her you spend hours on clothes hair makeup you know just like every other girl! tell her that shes gotta put more effort into it and than you know she would get what she was looking for. otherwise if you dont tell your friend she'll never know! and it shouldnt be your problem to deal with that shes upset.. so just let her know.. it might sound shallow but let her know that its coming from a true friend... and dont worry about that whole (i have a friend....) i beleive you.. lol cause you wouldnt ask advice for this stuff about yourself!
