Hey, this may sound kind of wierd but I'm just not sure what to do. Okay, my mom lives in tennesee and I live in kentucky with my grandparents(it's a long story). She never calls me and i only get to visit her like a couple times a year. My grandparents will let me visit her anytime but my mom never asks me to. i haven't talked to her since january 1st. i love my mom and i want to talk to her but i'm get scared to call her cuz i'm afraid she don't want to talk to me and I don't know what to say. I really want to see her though. If she really wanted to talk to me wouldn't she call me? Help me?

Hi! Alot of parents are afraid to contact there kids in situations like yours. They are afraid that their child wont love them as much and will reject them. Obviously not the case here. You love your mom, but YOU might need to take the first step. It might be hard at first, but i think the outcome is much better that wonndering what might happen if you didnt. Talk to your grandparents about calling her your self talk to a school teacheer you trust talk to anyone who might be able to help you make a decission.
