Question Posted Friday April 22 2005, 5:15 pm

Dear Miss New Advice Columnist Rachel,
I have too many friends, and there are so many different groups I hang out with. Sometimes I feel like I'm letting someone down, or spending too much time with another. I got invited to go a bazillion places tonight, but I can only do like 3 at the most, and even then it would be hard. What should I do, Oh Wise One?!

well my dear, i think you should first be happy that you're blessed with having so many people who care about you and want to hang out with you. on the other hand, sometimes having too many commitments may get stressful and defeat the point of them being a friend. ir'a almost impossible to have a lot of BEST FRIENDS, but it's awsome to have a lot of GOOD FRIENDS and some BEST FRIENDS. also, you're not hurting anyone by not being able to hang out with them, just be honest and it they're a real friend, they'll love you all the same.
