school dance
14/f 8thgrade...theres 'farewell dance' for eigth graders since its our last yr at this school before we go to highschool, and i broke up with my bf so now i dont have anyone to go with(like besides my friends). im not like totally ugly but im kinda 'big' and idk every guy i asked out which is like 4 have said no, so i dont have that much luck. well i dont want to sit out in the slow dances u no, but besides that im fine with goin with my freinds...so i was wondering wat do you suggest i do, i mean the guy i like is a TOTAL dork(not to be mean)and i know it shouldnt matter but i mean come on uve been in middle school, kids are cruel, so chances of me asking him are slim. there is this one guy ive liked since i was 8 but he said no to going out with me and ever since things have been really weird, but should i ask him, but just say as a friend?help i dont want to be alone:(...thanks

Hey I never went to a dance with a guy. This is what I did... Just dance during the fast songs and when a slow dance comes on, go to the snack bar (you guys have one right?) or sit down and chill with your friends. Because I'm sure after like 5 fast songs and like 20 minutes of dancing you'd wanna sit down/relax for a little.. right. Its no big deal. Trust me, in high school so many boys will try to get with you..you'll be confused. So dont worry about not having a boyfriend....you'll have plenty in high school. have fun !
