black pope?
everyone is talking about how Nostradomus (sp?) predicted centuries ago, that if we elect a black pope named benidict, a whole bunch of things are going to happen, causing the world to end? Does anyone know any websites on this?

That's just some stuff about how he predicted. I couldn't find a thing on black popes, sorry. But I thought that website was pretty interesting.
Judging by that, Nostradamus looked at things that happened in the past and used their dates to predict when they would happen again in the future, based on the theory that history repeats itself. The world has not ended yet, so how can it be repeated?
However, maybe (I haven't read this, it is just my own theory) he is referring to Noah's Ark and the Tsunami. Which really doesn't work because I don't think the Bible had been written when he was around...but perhaps he was predicting both. Ah, who knows. I haven't read any of his predictions so I'm just guessing here.
