Can anyone give me any tips on doing french manicrues at home with white nail polish?
Anything would be appreaciated like how to get it straight and stuff and anything else to do with french manicures.
I rate high if the advice is DECENT even if I don't use it if it's decent and not like a one word post then I rate high :)
kittyluvr1826 answered Saturday April 9 2005, 1:39 pm: there are these little stickers you can get to put on the area you don't want white, then you put the white on the ends, and take the stickers off. COWMOOOOOOOOoinkPIG answered Friday April 8 2005, 9:31 pm: first paint your nail with the darker color. then use tape (just about any kind works) and make sure you stick it to your jeans a couple times first, and put it across your nail where you want the line to be. then paint with the white. i take the tape off while the paint is still wet but u can leave it on till it drys if you want (the reason i take it off is sometimes when i peel it off after i have left it on to dry, the white peels off with it) [ COWMOOOOOOOOoinkPIG's advice column | Ask COWMOOOOOOOOoinkPIG A Question ]

Karen answered Thursday April 7 2005, 9:14 pm: When you are doing a french manicure and your tips are messed up and they aren't straight, take a q-tip or a thin brush, dip it in nail polish remover and you can shape your tips, making them straight while removing the extra nail polish. That's what I do when I mess up and it works. You don't always have to make your tips the same size as your real tips.
While you are doing a french manicure, turn your nail so that it's facing you and that will be easier and you can make your tips even straighter that way.
