You COULD try the toothpick method, but it never works.. SOOOO...There's kits out [maybe 5 or 8 dollars] that give you little stickers to help you, like by Sally Hansen, just check your local drugstore. It's really not that easy to do if you aren't patient. Maybe you and a friend can help each other together, it's probably easier! Hope I've Helped, and if you need anything just message me! ♥

there are these little stickers you can get to put on the area you don't want white, then you put the white on the ends, and take the stickers off. You would then put some clear polish over the entire thing! hope i helped!! ~lexi

first paint your nail with the darker color. then use tape (just about any kind works) and make sure you stick it to your jeans a couple times first, and put it across your nail where you want the line to be. then paint with the white. i take the tape off while the paint is still wet but u can leave it on till it drys if you want (the reason i take it off is sometimes when i peel it off after i have left it on to dry, the white peels off with it)

When you are doing a french manicure and your tips are messed up and they aren't straight, take a q-tip or a thin brush, dip it in nail polish remover and you can shape your tips, making them straight while removing the extra nail polish. That's what I do when I mess up and it works. You don't always have to make your tips the same size as your real tips.

While you are doing a french manicure, turn your nail so that it's facing you and that will be easier and you can make your tips even straighter that way.

These are just some tips that I know when doing a french manicures.
