ok so i'm 18 & i dated this guy for 9 months & while it may not seem like long- it felt like we were together longer than that! probably b/c we spent ALL our time w/ each other & i had practically moved in w/ him. well now we're broken up but he still wants to be friends. which i think is ok but it's hard for me. anyway- i'm a senior & i don't know of anyone else to take to my senior prom- should i take him? & also- whenever we were datin i called by a nickname- is it ok to still call him that nickname even though we're broken up? thanks- i appreciate it! :D

I think it's great that you two broke up on good terms, still wanting to be friends. I wish some of my breakups had ended that way. =P
As for prom, I'd ask him, but keep in mind that he may say no, or he may be going with someone else. I would go for it, though. You two are still friends - there's no reason two friends can't go to prom together.
As far as the nickname, though, I might not. If it's not a nickname anyone else calls him, I wouldn't, simply because it would seem - to me, if I broke up with my boyfriend and he continued to call me my nickname - that he was trying to revive the relationship.
