Well, I think the best thing for you to do would just to be to continue to get to know this girl. You can't judge a person soley based on what others say about them. Girls talk a lot of smack, and it's hard to say what's true and what isn't. I wouldn't mention this gossip to the girls because that will it will just cause uneeded drama between everyone. Also, this friend of hers might be jealous and wants to keep you from her friend. Think about that. You need to judge a person based on their actions around you and with you. Not from word of mouth. Sure, sometimes these things are true, so keep that in mind. Just observe things and get to know her better. Give her a chance to prove the rumor wrong. If it turns out it is not true, then great, and if it is true and that is not the kind of girl you are looking for, then just move on. :)
