i am 14 and the guy i like is 13. i am in 8th and he is in 7th. i want to date him because he is mature and everything but i am afraid people will make fun of me. please help!

it sounds like you really like this guy! you should go for it because any guy who is mature is a major plus! its only a years difference and age doesnt matter. you shouldnt listen to people anyway...it isnt about them. this relationship is just about you and him....no one else. if your happy and your following your true feeling then you should go get em'! good luck!
