When you shave your pubic hair, the pros of shaving are that it's easier to clean and it just looks cleaner and the cons of shaving are razor burn, you can cut yourself, the area may itch and burn, and the skin where your pubic hair is a lot sensitive so you need to watch out so your won't cut yourself or get razor.
Ingrown hairs are hairs that stay underneath the skin and grow in wrong and you can't shave those ingrown hairs. This will then cause you to get a white head.

The cons outnumber the pros because the sole purpose of your pubic hairs is to keep foreign objects and bacteria out of the vaginal area. Translation: pubic hairs are there to keep you "sanitary".
Ingrown hairs are hairs that stay and grow underneath the skin and never really reach the surface so you can shave it. You end up with black bumps (which is the hair follicle unable to break the skin surface).
