am i in in love or lust

hi my name is shelsea,im 14 and a female and i was going out with this guy named derek for 3 monthes but then i broke up with him because i thought things were getting to serious and i went out with this guy named zach but i broke up with him because i still have strong feelings for derek. is this love or lust and if he asks me back out what should i say.

The difference between love and lust is this: in lust, you only want the physical attractions of a person. In love, you see all of that person with perfection--their mind, soul, body, and heart. You're connected to them in more than a physical way. Moreso a mental connection. If you feel love for this Derek guy, I'd go back to him.
