16 female.
Me and one of my friend girls went to the mall and we ended up running into 2 guys that we know that go to the same school. Well one of them just all of a sudden started liking me... so we got to "talking" and then we dated, I felt like I didnt know him well enough so I told him that maybe we should know each other a little better. Well I know him a lot better and I like him... a lot. I dont want to date him just yet bc I'm going out of state next week and for half of spring break and I don't want to feel guilty if I 'check out' a guy while I'm not with him. And just today he asked if we were ever going to date.. so I kind of got the impression that he feels like he may be wasting his time or something. What should I do?

BurnieMac answered Wednesday March 23 2005, 9:18 pm: You have a decision to make. Do you really like this guy who you would see everyday if you dated, or would you rather be free to "check out" a guy that you will probably only see at most for a few days out of your life? For me, I'd choose having someone I could see everyday and do things with on a regular basis rather than some fling that goes on during an out-of-state trip. If you really like this guy a lot, I think you should give him a chance now. If you wait that much longer, he may get the idea that you have lost interest. All in all, the decision lies within what you think would benefit you more: having a steady boyfriend or being able to "check out" a hottie while your in another area code. I hope you make the best decision for you. This is the best advice that I can give; I hope it helps. Friendly advice from Caleb. [ BurnieMac's advice column | Ask BurnieMac A Question ]
