this may seem retarted but im 13 years old.. blonde hair- blue eyes.. and i want to be a singer.. everyone tells me i have a good voice and i should have gone out for this singing contest we have at school- i really wish i had.. im working up the courage to ask my mom to get me voice lessons.. in the mean time i just listen to music every single solitary chance i get and sing at the top of my lungs... should i go out for a school musical or something..?

If you know that you are a good singer and people tell you that you are, then you should definitely follow your dream and become a singer and do everything that you can that will get you there. You should ask your mom and she probably will let you get lessons.
