Videos?

Question Posted Thursday March 17 2005, 4:24 pm

Ok, say I have a friend who I can't see anymore and they want to see how my band is coming and even want to see it on video. I thought it would be easy if I just uploaded a video from a camera to my comp and put it on some hosting site or sent it to them, but..... one tihng is I dont have a camera, nor know what kind to use, and then if I could borrow one, I don't know how to upload it to my computer and send it? Any computer know-alls out there?

If the camera borrowed is digital, then it should be really simple, and you should be able to connect it to a usb cord.
Then ofcourse you need to convert it to avi (or wmv/asf or rm depending on how fast your connection is). And send. Find a friend with some computer skills because this is a bit advanced for novices.
