helping a friend My friend admitted to me that she has a slight bulemic problem. The thing is.. she asked me not to tell. I looked online and found some symptoms/side effects and such of bulemia and i noticed she's been showing a few of those.. so i believe her that she has a problem. I just don't know what to do! She says she only does it sometimes..like when she's moody or something.. but that seems to be a lot. I know she'll get mad at me if i tell someone about it but i really want to help her! What can i do?

Well, if you see her getting worse, than you should tell someone. Bulemia is probably one of the worst eat disorders because when your friend throws up, the acids from her stomach ruin her esophagus. You need to be there for her and try telling her what bulemia will do to her. She probably already knows but you should explain all the effects and such. If she makes herself throw up when she's moody, try making her stay in a good mood. Just be there for her and show her that you care for her. You could always talk to a guidance counselor and ask what you could do about this for a friend. You don't even need to mention your friend's name. I've never had bulemia but I was pretty close to becoming anorexic and my friends were there for me and told me that I should eat and so on. Good luck with everything.
