Question Posted Saturday March 12 2005, 10:00 pm

Ok, so i like this guy and well... i finally think he likes me back. For example, he laughs alot around me and we always have an awesome time together. The thing is.... my friend doesn't exactly like him..I don't really like her boyfriend, so we're even, right?

The question isn't about being even. And you shouldn't care whether your friend likes him or not. If you like this guy, it shouldn't depend on whether anyone else approves of him or not. You're obviously too concerned with what people think about you. You shouldn't care. It's not about what other people think, it's about what you think. So if you like this guy, that's fine. But really, stop being so frickin' sensitive to other people's thoughts. It doesn't MATTER what Jane thinks about Bob. She could think Bob was a frickin' manslut. But if you know Bob isn't a manslut and you like Bob, why should you care what Jane thinks?
