How do you break up with a girl without her geting upset?

The chances are, if she cares about the relationship then she will get upset anyway. Just be truthful and to the point.

Do not do it when you are with other people, she will get embarassed and it isn't fair on her. Make sure you are alone.

Always do it face to face. Never ever under any circumstances do it via text message, it sucks. Do not say "This relationship isn't working it's not you it's me we can still be friends." Be truthful and completely honest about what's gone wrong and whether or not you can be friends. She will appreciate your honesty and sensitivity, even if she is upset.
