Mkay, well I've liked this guy for a while now. Since like, november maybe. and, I gave up on him back in january. but then, recently we started talking again and he told me the reason he broke things off w/ me in the first place was b/c of everything his friends said about me. and he didn't really want to hear their shit about me, everyday for going out w/ me. Well, we started basically "talking" again and then he just went crazy on me the other night. I think it's b/c he's finding every excuse there is not to get invovled w/ me...even if it is dumb shit. but he's using that as an excuse not to talk to me, n trying to fool himself that i'm such a terrible person. I know better, i know he likes me, but he won't let himself like me. What should I do? I can't give up on him, that's not an option...

The more you act like it bothers you and the more obsessed you act, the less he will like you. You should NOT have to defend yourself agenst his friends. Honestly.. I would never want to be with a guy that for one had friends that talked about me, and two BELIEVED or let what the said get to him. If he dosn't want to get involved there is nothing you can do. You never have to toally give up on someone. Even if you just act like your over him... show him your an awesome person and show him your not worried about whether you can get him or not, make him think your gonna do better without him. If he dosn't come back then, i dont know what to tell you babe. [ EliseGrayce's advice column | Ask EliseGrayce A Question ]
