I'm 26 and have been with my boyfriend for 5 years next month. We've talked about marriage on and off and it's always been a positive conversation from his point of view, I've always been more hesitant but have realised I really do want to marry him. So! I am thinking of surprising him and popping the question!
Even though it isn't leap year is it ok for girls to propose to boys and if so what do you get them!?
sweetjewel answered Monday March 7 2005, 5:46 pm: i think you should let him pop the question but if you want to you could bake a ring into something or buy a bear at the store build a bear and record your voice saying "will you marry me" [ sweetjewel's advice column | Ask sweetjewel A Question ]

buckems answered Monday March 7 2005, 2:51 pm: Im just 14 so what do i know but ill give it a shot.. Now this is in a positive tone.. Dont you think if he was ready for marrage he would just ahead and pop the question. You know he might be ready spritually to marry you but theres also the financial aspect and job worries.
