This may sound odd but I would really like to know: after a pregnancy (after the baby is born) how long does it take for the woman's periods to come back? Is it instant, or in (roughly) a month, or depending on when her last period before the pregnancy was, or what? And also, will her periods be irregular like when they first started or go back to her normal cycle?
Thank you!

It might take a while for her period to get back on cycle, some find that they need hormone therapy to try to bring it back to some semblance of normalcy.

A women's period will be regular again, like before she had a baby, but that also takes a while. Every female is different but their period will take a while to come back and to be regular again.
