popular styles

Question Posted Thursday February 24 2005, 7:13 pm

why do people go around changing the way they dress and act just so they can be like 'the popular kids'? i mean none of us have name tags that say 'im popular, dress like me!' why can't people just dress in their own style and stop being a different person just to fit in? half the time they change, they end up being a slut or something in that catagory. i just want to know why people change like this.

People change like that because they are self-confident. They want to follow the herd. They think that if they dress like the 'popular' kids do then they will invite them in there group. People like you dont care what they look like and thats great. Thats how everyone should be. No one should be judged on there clothes.
