Question Posted Sunday February 20 2005, 9:39 pm

i have this friend. we are realy close. i think i may like him as more then a friend but it would come as a REALLY big shock to him cause i have never had "feelings" for him and hes never had "feelings" for me. just friends. should i just live this out and not do anything about it until i get over him? i dont want to ask him out, because i am afraid of rejection and i know he will 99.9% say no.

Well, look, if you like him that much maybe you should talk to him about it, or talk to one of his friends about it, you know, just to see what he thinks, sometimes people who are so close end up also being a very close couple. Then sometimes, it ruins a friendship. That isn't something you want to happen. You have to be the voice of reason here, if he doensn't like you then maybe it just isn't there and you should hide your feelings and move on. But don't let your feelings ruin your friendship.
