Lately, my friend has been acting weird to me at school. She ignores most of what I say and when I laugh at a joke or something she looks at me like I couldn't be stupider. See, she only acts like this at school... I'm confused on why she does this.. I wonder if It's something that I do, but I'd have to say I act pretty much the same in school as out of school. And on top of everything, I think her jerk boyfriend is only friendly to me so that he can keep going out with her and all that jazz. I'm so confused w/this I don't know what to do. Anything at all can help. Thanks for you time.

JadedinNowhere answered Monday February 14 2005, 11:22 pm: Have you tried talking to your friend? I think perhaps the reason is what the majority of the Junior high population has to deal with. Everyone wants to be "accepted" or "cool". People are so fake sometimes you can't believe it. Your friend may be a jerk now, but believe me, one of these days, they might find that their so called "new friends" aren't really her friends. And you are. As for the boyfriend it's her problem that he's a jackass and is trying to earn brownie points with her friends so that he can still go out with her. And if he's being nice, well.. let him be nice, just be suspicious, don't be sold over. Anyway.. Tell your friend that it hurts your feelings when she treats you like an idiot, when she ignores you. Maybe she has a soul, and compassion and will want to talk with you about it. I hope I helped, and if you need any more advice, my time is yours.
