well one of my best friend john has recently told me i've changed and we just entered high school and i dont think i have changed. i think i have just found a new group of friends that i like and i hang out with and i dont doubt that they rubbed off on me, but i told him ill try to act the same around him but now it seems like he thinks hes my boss. he treats me rude and disrespectfully and acts like im nothing to him anymore, and ive done nothing but be nice to him..i've invited him places and try to talk to him but all he does is shut me down and im like one second away from yelling at him because i dont think i deserve him yelling at me. what should i do? i think if i approach him he'll just yell at me saying i've changed. -14 female

And now he's just using the "You changed" quote to make you feel bad about everything. Maybe you should give him sometime to cool off. Then try to talk to him. If he still doesn't listen, write him a letter or e-mail. Your going to have to tell him how you feel sometime and he should hear you out. If he's your true friend, he'll understand, if not, his loss. Just give it sometime and I'm sure he'll realize you didn't change at all. Your just growing up!
