hey i am the one who asked about panty liners because i have alot of discharge.. but i have had discharge for over a year ithink is that asign my period should come soon ? also i want to start wearing panty liners because lately i have so much discharde and it is ruining my undies.. well not ruining but kind of staining you could say.. i dont think im ready to talk to my mom its embarresing for me.. but i dont want to wait much longer to start using them if i should start. i dont know what too do just not use them or wait out for my period.. if its coming soon. if it isnt i dont know what too do.. by the way i rated u a 5 on your advice before.. and i bet i will this time to you give amazing advice!

Hey there. Often times girls start getting discharge (yes sometimes a lot) rigth before their period. I had discharge for about a year before my period as well. So, don't worry about the amount you are having. It vasries from girl to girl, but it's still completely normal to have. If I were in your postion I would go ahead and start wearing the panty liners now. That way, your panties will stay dry, and stain free. Plus, it will be like practice for when you start to have your period. I guess it's okay for you not to tell your mom. It's really your choice. I am super close to my mom, so I told her. But I have a few friends that have been on their period for a few years and have never told their mom anything about it. It's really what you are comforable with. Once you start reguary having your period you can then use tampons,pads, and/or pantyliners. Whatever suits you best. You may end up needing to tell your mom in case she needs to go buy that stuff for you. In the mean time, get you some pantyliners and/or thong liners and every thing will be just fine. But again, there really is nothing at all to be embarassed about, but at the same time I totally see where you are coming from. It may help for you to first talk to your friends or something.
