there was this guy who said that he liked me and i said i sort of liked him, but not as a potentail boyfriend. i'm trying to not be high-matinence. He isn't very cute, and he is kind of annoying. And most of the ppl that know/ r friends w/ him think he isn't all that cute. What should i do?

Right in the first sentence you said that you don't like him as a potentail boyfriend. So, there you have it! It's not quite being high-matinence because you said he is annoying. Saying you don't like him because he's ugly isn't nice, but if he's annoying, then just let him be a loner. So tell him that you are not interested in being his girlfriend.
