I have known my best friend since pre school. but its like all of a sudden i don't no him. hes starting to smoke and drink. i don't want to be around that because i have had enough of that b/c i use to do that till i got help. i don't no how to stop him. if he doesn't stop i don't think we can be friends anymore what do u think i should do?

yea its always hard to see your friends that youve known for a really long time doing that stuff.. but i think its just a fad for people to do, you do it, and then you realize how immature that stuff really was, the best thing i think for you to do is just to talk to him about it, and he needs to know that maybe if he still keeps doing it, your going to loose your friendship together. and if he hears that he might stop because friendship means more than anything. i think that should get him under control and see whats best for him. xox
