I shave down there and when I do it, it always bleeds!! And then when I get out of the shower it looks really gross because it has a lot of red dots and all! I use a sharp razor...I try and go slow...and I use either conditioner or shaving cream to shave with!! Does anyone know how to prevent this from bleeding or getting ingrown hairs?? Thanks!!
ThugGirl041790 answered Thursday February 3 2005, 6:23 pm: DOnt shave for a couple days and dont shave going upwards..shave going down.. and continue shaving with conditionor it works good or shaving cream.. maybe you shouldnt use a really sharp razor..and wait a couple days so where it was bleeding at will heal and let it grow out a little bit then shave it..~*DEZ*~ [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]

Zach_Attack answered Thursday February 3 2005, 5:16 pm: OK, I'm a specialist in this area. For one, you dont want to shave up. The hair likes to grow down so going up is like going against the grain. Also, dont try to go for a close shave, you'll end up shaving of all those little bumps which will make you bleed. Just avoid all of that and do as I recommend and you should be ok. :)
AND DO NOT PUT LOTION ON AFTERWARDS...it will irritate your skin!!! [ Zach_Attack's advice column | Ask Zach_Attack A Question ]
SammieLovesMatt00 answered Thursday February 3 2005, 4:53 pm: lol ok sometimes i get that too.. its normal.. what you do is wait a couple days so it gets longer.. (the hair) cuz when its short it tends to like bleed. and it hurts and yeah i know it looks nasty afterwards.. after you do it put lotion on it!!!
hope i helped! [ SammieLovesMatt00's advice column | Ask SammieLovesMatt00 A Question ]
