well at first maybe you can be like yeah o this is nice like all sad and then you can act like omg i love it just so they feel bad then you no that you to are joking and then you can possibly take them out to a movie or sumthing since they have made you guys dinner or you can just do sumthing romantic maybe you can go to build a bear and build them a teddey bear saying that you love them well i hope that i helped guys are to hard to buy for they are stubborn

as a joke, you could say you can't make it to their big dinner and then surprise them with something big when you show up anyway. Or you could bring dessert or something.... Idk this is a hard one. I would deffinatly make them something though if their going so out of their way to cook you dinner.
