Question Posted Sunday January 30 2005, 7:27 pm

I'm a smart kid but I don't think I act as smart as I should be. It's not like I pretend to be stupid but I just wish other people would recognize my intelligence.. =)

You're smart and people know it! How do you do that? haha

first of all, me being smart and people knowing it can get terribly annoying. people are always like "pick alicia! shes smart!" or "i bet alicia was the one who got the 100!" and when im not, or i dont do as well as they expect, i feel like im letting people down. if other people think your stupid, tell them off and make a bigger effort to say "look! i got a good grade on this!". let people know that you are capable of being intellectual, and dont let them forget it. seriously, being the 'smart kid' is relatively new to me. this is like the first year that i get pretty good grades, and i actually kinda like it. dont let people treat you like you arent as good as others if you beleive that you are just as good, maybe even better!
